NO CLIENT WORK YET. THREE DEMOS INSTEAD.
I have not built a website for a paying Mackay business yet, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What I can show you is the work itself: three demonstration sites I built for fictional businesses, one trade, one outdoors, one clinic. Open them, resize them, try them on your phone. When real client work ships it goes here with the client's name and a link to their live site. Not a screenshot. The actual site.
Sugarline Plumbing
Emergency plumber. Navy and safety orange, phone-first, a licence band and a fixed call bar on mobile. Built for someone who needs a plumber at 2am.

Demo · fictional businessPaperbark Lawn Co
Lawns and gardens. Deep greens and sand, serif headlines, and a wet season / dry season plan, because in Mackay the season decides the work.

Demo · fictional businessJacaranda Family Dental
Family dental clinic. Calm lavender and warm white, light type, opening hours and a first visit section. Built to lower the heart rate, not raise it.

TRY THEM RIGHT HERE.
This is the live site inside the frame, not a picture of it. Switch between the three, flip to phone view, scroll inside, tap the menus.
Why demos and not borrowed work
Most agencies fill this page with stock photos, borrowed logos, or work they did for someone else three jobs ago. I would rather show you three sites I actually built, labelled as demos on every page, than dress any of that up as a portfolio. Come back in a month and see whether a real client has taken one of the spots.
If you are reading this and it is still empty, that tells you exactly where I am, which is the point.
What will be on each one
Five things, and no more. This is what I would want to see if I were the one deciding.
- Who it is, by name, with their trade and their town. No anonymous case studies.
- What it looked like before, honestly. If there was no website at all, it says so.
- What I built and what I changed, in plain terms, including the Google listing work if there was any.
- A link to the live site. Go and open it. Click around. That is the only proof that means anything.
- The date, so you can see how old the work is.
What will not be on it
No invented percentages. I measured thirty Mackay plumbing websites in August and published the method, so you know I am willing to count things. But a number about a client's revenue is the client's to give, not mine to estimate, and most of the ones you see on agency websites are guesses dressed up as results.
If a client gives me a real figure and is happy for it to be public, it goes up with their name next to it. Otherwise the work speaks for itself or it does not.
In the meantime
What I can show you today is measurement rather than client work. On 18 August 2026 I ran the websites of thirty Mackay plumbing businesses through my own checks, and I published my own site's full audit including what is still wrong with it. Both are on the proof page, with dates.
It is not a portfolio. It is the next best thing I have, which is evidence that I count properly and say what I find.
